Design & Development Process

A user-centered design approach was followed to ensure an optimal experience.
1. User Research & Discovery

To understand the needs of the users, 36+ participants were surveyed and interviewed.

📊 Key Findings:

  • 80% of users value video consultations as a priority feature.
  • 70% of users were concerned about data privacy and security.
  • 63% of users actively manage chronic conditions and need a centralized platform.
  • 40% still rely on paper records, highlighting the need for digitization.

These insights guided our UX decisions, ensuring the app addresses real pain points.

2. User Personas

Two primary personas were identified:

1. Sarah Johnson (Marketing Manager, Age 34)

🟣 Goals:
✅ Access healthcare without disrupting her busy schedule.
✅ Reliable medical advice for herself and her children.
✅ Manage family health records and appointments efficiently.

🟣 Pain Points:
❌ Struggles to find time for in-person doctor visits.
❌ Managing multiple health appointments for the entire family.
❌ Concerned about privacy and security of online health data.

2. Michael Roberts (Retired Engineer, Age 56)

🔵 Goals:
✅ Regularly monitor and manage chronic conditions.
✅ Conveniently consult healthcare providers from home.
✅ Stay informed about health status and medication schedules.

🔵 Pain Points:
❌ Difficulty traveling to healthcare facilities for check-ups.
❌ Keeping track of multiple medications and appointments.
❌ Navigating complex health apps with too many features.

3. Wireframing & Prototyping
  • Low-fidelity wireframes were created to map out the user journey.
  • High-fidelity UI designs were developed to ensure visual clarity.
  • A/B testing was conducted to refine navigation, readability, and accessibility.
